Visit. Learn. Play.

Welcome!

The Nassau County Firefighters Museum is a place to learn all about fire safety while having fun!

Visitors are taken step-by-step through a working fire, from alarm activation and emergency call to the "knocking down" of flames at the scene. The Museum's exhibits also trace the evolution of fire service equipment, gear and apparatus. See real horse drawn fire engines, a SIlsby steamer and even "drive" a 1934 Mack fire engine.

Visitors of all ages will enjoy the interactive, educational experience and leave with important fire safety tips.
